Anyone in the Humber area (Bridlington), there's an upcoming tech challenge organized by the NHS to bring new tech/Digital to the NHS specifically aiming at dementia.

The Humber Care Tech Challenge 2019 is an exciting opportunity for participants to develop yet to be imagined technology solutions to support people living with dementia and their carers.

On the first day of the challenge, teams will focus on developing their concept and on the second day they will begin building their prototypes.

There will be plenty of people on hand to help teams to refine and develop their ideas, including technical experts from Amazon, Principal ICT Business Analysts from East Riding of Yorkshire Council, and health and social care experts.

The winning team will receive support from mentors at Amazon, the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and the University of Hull to help turn their ideas into real products and make a difference in the Humber region and beyond. The winners will also take home the famous Humber Care Tech trophy!
